About Us

The Rancho Bernardo Unit is a group of multi-generational, energized and motivated women dedicated to supporting the mission of Rady Children’s Hospital. Members meet on the second Wednesday evening of each month at a private home or restaurant. Auxiliary activities include providing new clothing for patients and families who arrive at the Emergency Department, brown bags with snacks for patients and families waiting at the hospital and sponsoring a child at the Bernardy Skilled nursing facility. We fundraise for the hospital and along the way have fun, make memories and develop wonderful, lasting friendships. New members are always welcome!
